Recognition Opportunities

Since our inception in 2006, Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) has always had a vision: to build a fully-equipped sheltering facility for the homeless pets of the Greater New Orleans area. Over the past five years, ARNO’s directorial and managerial team has worked tirelessly to plan and oversee the construction of a new, permanent shelter where animals in the community would have a dedicated space to heal, grow, and thrive until they find their future families. From wide-open dog yards to luxurious cat condos, the ARNO team thoroughly researched every inch of the new facility to ensure animals facing crisis would have a comforting and warm safe haven.

In February 2025, ARNO opened the doors of its new shelter at 160 Brookhollow Esplanade through the generosity and support of Paulette and Frank Stewart. The new space is being enjoyed by everyone – two-legged, four-legged, and the occasional three-legged alike. Animals have more space to play and relax and our volunteers and staff have all the resources they need to provide everything from the daily essentials to enhanced enrichment. Our fully-equipped medical treatment room delivers basic care to our cats and dogs in a dedicated space. And our adoption team is enjoying the abundant counseling space that serves as a welcoming place for adopters to meet their new family members.

With our dream shelter fully operational, we would like to invite fellow animal-lovers to honor their passion for saving homeless animals and leave their legacy with a recognition opportunity.

Whether you wish to honor a family pet or commemorate a fellow animal lover, your contribution serves as a commitment to securing ARNO’s place in the future of helping homeless animals. With a wide range of choices from $2,000 – $40,000, there are many different opportunities to choose from.

We are so thankful that you are part of the ARNO family. Your legacy will make a difference today, tomorrow, and for the future of our animals.

For further details, please contact ARNO’s Vice President Ginnie Baumann at (504) 669-1908 or email [email protected] to leave your legacy. All donations are tax-deductible.
