Lost or Found Pets
Please file a lost or found report with your parish animal shelter. Bring a flyer to all area shelters.
Post flyers and speak with neighbors in the area the pet was lost/found. Contact nearby veterinarian clinics, and bring flyers to their offices. Create lost/found posts on Craigslist, Facebook and other social media sites.
If you have found a pet, bring them to any veterinarian office or animal shelter to have the animal scanned for a microchip.
If you have lost your pet, contact your pet’s microchip company to alert them that your pet is missing.
We can courtesy post lost/found pets on our facebook page HERE. Please message us on Facebook and include a photo of the pet with a complete description, including pet name & size, where (address, city & zip) and when pet was lost/found, your name and contact info. We will not courtesy post without a phone number and/or email address to accompany the lost/found pet posting.
